"Mars Academy USA, MAU, is excited to announce first inaugural partnership with Texas A&M University's  STUDENTS FOR THE EXPLORATION & DEVELOPMENT OF SPACE (TAMU-SEDS), with members in the AGGIE ASTRONAUT CORPS program. The first student crew will be training in a fully immersive analog missions at MAU’s Los Angeles  Mars Analog Astronaut training basecamp. Crew Commander  is  Makiah Eustice, an experienced analog astronaut who has trained at Mars Desert Research Station in 2018."

MAU Crew 1121 - Mars Medics VI

Mars Academy USA (MAU) GENERAL MISSIONS are fully immersive "in-person" real-time simulations and crew teams live, work and collaborate together during the mission. The crews are formed by selecting and creating scientific expedition analog astronaut teams at isolated and/or confined (I.C.E.) environments in areas that are designated as Mars analogs on Earth. These missions are categorized by their level of training, complexities, mission duration, and risk levels involved in the expeditions. Participants will engage in various training activities and collaborate in scientific projects and engage in experiential learning with experiential technologies, e,g, 3D Printing, telemedicine, VRAR, UAVs, Robotics. human psychological / human factors mitigation projects and space medicine, Search and Rescue protocols. MAU Crew 1121 is a LOW-FIDELITY 4 days/ 3 nights mission including a 2 days PRE-SIM and 2 days POST-SIM traning ( MANDATORY)for a TOTAL 8 DAYS. The total number of participants is 8 crewmembers/mission.

Mars Academy USA, MAU Crew 1120-Mars Medics V is composed of an international, transdisciplinary and motivated assembly of highly-trained medical, biomedical, biotechnology professionals ranging from academia, research-scientist communities, Astro-wellness practitioners and space/aerospace/aviation physicians who are passionate, motivated pioneers and visionary individuals working to pave the path for humanity to Marsand beyond.The crew of analog astronauts will enter the MAU analog habitat at Mars basecamp site located in Soledad Canyon, California, USA. The mission is part of MAU’s LOW-FIDELITY SHORT DURATION TRAINING PROGRAM and the crew will conduct a 4 day/3 night fully immersive “real-time” Mars simulation mission. MAU Crew 1118 - General Mission

The crew is comprised of several experienced MAU analog astronaut alumni group working with undergraduates and citizen scientists who are interested in space exploration and exponential technology development and research. This crew will test remote communications, robotics rovers and will comprise of several interns working with MAU’s Remote Mission Support teams.
